DHW heat exchanger for City 28 CSI - Beretta
The DHW heat exchanger is designed to heat water in a Beretta City 28 boiler.
It is a water-to-water plate heat exchanger made of stainless steel plates, the plates are soldered together.
The plates are the same size but rotated 180 degrees relative to each.
This arrangement of plates provides an alternation of hot and cold flows.
Water flows during heat exchange move towards each other and hot liquid transfers heat through the wall of the plate.
The plate heat exchanger is connected to the inlet and outlet headers of the domestic hot water using four rubber seals.
This design makes it easy and quick to audit and, if necessary, replace the secondary heat exchanger.
